nyaho!

i've been working out a concept for a few weeks now for a new something (not sure if it's gonna be a book, a comic, or just some characters i use in random art/memes. only time will tell), and i'd like to share the first finished piece of concept art. i'm pretty proud of it considering that 4-legged/feral anatomy is one of my weak points.

presenting: the dead kittens society!! (working title but i might keep it tbh)

our protagonists, a pair of sisters that were separated in life, but are now reunited in death: scissors and absynthe.

following their untimely deaths at the hands of humans, they (absynthe mostly) have vowed to enact their revenge on the world, and help other mistreated cats find peace in the afterlife. as it turns out, it's a lot easier to kill a human without thumbs than you'd originally think..

more information and art should be on the way soon, assuming that i don't die before fall break XD

Nyaho everyone!

I've got good news for once, and that's that I finally have my heart monitor! It's just a little guy sitting on the top of my chest, but it'll help me keep track of those random episodes I keep having. Pretty good news since it'll help us figure out what's going on even faster :D

I also got some cash sent my way and I put some of it towards a years worth of support to my beloved Newgrounds. This site has honestly been such a positive in my life even during the scarier stuff, so I might as well pay it forward, right?

Not much else to really add unfortunately, but we'll have the results of my lab work back by Friday, and go on from there. I know for sure it's nothing life-threatening, but worse case scenario my little chest buddy might become a more permanent fixture -w-

That whole "fatigue" thing is coming back with a vengeance so I'm gonna take a quick nap and maybe edit this later if nothing makes sense lol.

Nyaho, everyone.

So uh, just as a small update, there's pretty much a non-zero chance that I've got some sort of heart condition. Which one we don't know yet because they have to run tests, but it's becoming pretty clear that a lot of things that I was writing off as "random" are in fact related to each other and possibly trying to kill me.

Super cool and fun news there. It's good to finally know what's going on, but I won't lie, it's still pretty scary stuff. Not every day that you get to find out you're wired so wrong they have to medically intervene. It's a bummer, but other than the symptoms and such I'm actually doing pretty alright. Like I said, some little heart issue isn't gonna take me out that easy.

I don't wanna end this post on a super downer note so here's a doodle of an emo squirrel that I did during my work study job the other day. (Still don't have a name for him but I'm open to suggestions.):

As you can tell by my sudden lack of enthusiasm (or whatever you'd call the manic ramblings that are my normal posts lmao), I've got a lot on my mind. I've been having this weird thing going on with my heart for a few months and I've gotta go to the doctor tomorrow and get it checked out. It's not something urgent like a heart attack but it's also deffo not normal heart behavior.

Sounds pretty scary right? Well imagine how I feel! I mean shoot, there's all these possibilities and outcomes, and none of them sound good at all. Doesn't exactly help that I'm already so friggin' anxious all the time that I have to hype myself up to buy breakfast in the mornings just because you have to talk to a cashier. Blegh!

It doesn't matter, though. I've already made a promise to myself that whatever the deal is, I'm not gonna let it stop me from doing what I do and being who I am. If anything, I'll be even more annoying because I'll take time off of school and have more time to yap on NG XD.

So yeah, that's whats going on in Natsuki-land this week! Hopefully I'll have an update on that in the next few days. Frankly, I'm looking forward to the whole thing being over, because not knowing what's going on is a lot worse. At least once I know what the deal is I can take the steps to get better, you know?

Long time no see, NG! Sorry about the silence, I've been getting myself back into the groove of being a functional human. So far, so good. I've even managed to get into college (again)!

But that's not what I'm here to talk about. Instead, I'm gonna talk about something else I've been doing this past weekend, and that was my first big boy sprite rip! It took me several hours and has 33 individual sheets.

(yaaay. wooo. go natsuki!!)

The game in question is Tabemasu Games' first (and only) app, Kawaii Killer! It's got everything, senseless violence, cute animals, and a secret ending that totally changes everything :O Not to mention, there's 3 versions of the game that are completely lost media.

Honestly, I'm surprised nobody really talks about it. I only know it exists because of a banned games iceberg. Seems like something right up the NG crowd's alley, but I guess it slipped past (or I just can't find anyone talking about it XD).

Anyways, not to sound like a shill, but you should totally try it. Please. I need someone to talk about this game with.
